Jeffrey Greenacre arrived in Florida in the 1970s to work on a project at GTE Data Services following his early career in education. As he worked for GTE, he began to think about starting a business of his own where he could use his educational and professional background.

Alert for opportunities, Mr. Greenacre was among the first to recognize a growing need for professional services to help community associations manage the assets turned over to them by departing developers as the trend toward developments with association owned assets took off in the next several decades.

He also noticed that few property management firms had the expertise to help associations use technology effectively to meet these challenges.
